At the recommendation of the Safety & Security Committee, the Ranch Solano Board of Directors recently approved a new procedure for alerting residents when their garage doors are open between 2 and 5 a.m. In the past, residents were asked to opt-in to have Safehaven Security call them if their garage door is open during the night. Moving forward, residents will automatically receive a phone call to the phone number on record with the Kelly Company, unless they inform the Kelly Company by October 31, 2021 they would like to opt-out of this service.

 

This change in procedure is designed to eliminate accidental overnight open garage doors--something that the Fairfield Police Dept. identified as a theft deterrent--and designed to eliminate homeowner fines as a result of open garage doors.

 

If your home is occupied by a tenant, please share this information with them, so that they are aware of the new process and have the ability to opt-out, should they wish.
