The HOA has been informed that some residents near the Bear Creek retention ponds have reported an odor that seems to be coming from the ponds. The ponds are designed to collect stormwater runoff that subsequently drains through the creeks out to Suisun Marsh. As the ponds are maintained by the City of Fairfield, they have begun immediate work to remedy the situation by getting the pond treated and working on maintenance. We expect the situation to improve, and we want to thank residents for communicating this concern and thank the City of Fairfield for working to remedy the situation.
